Best Press Spray in New Scents!
Five new scents of Mary Ellen's Best Press Spray are here! You'll find them under newest additions .There is lavender, citrus, tea rose garden, cherry blossom, Caribbean beach, and of course we still sell the unscented. If you've never used this product I think you'll be very pleased with the results when you press your blocks (or heaven forbid, shirts!). There is no gunk, clogging, or residue, just a nice crisp block to work with when you're done.

New Books From C & T
The latest books have arrived from C & T! There is 100+ no sew fabric crafts for kids by Mary Link. We love Barbara Brackman’s Encyclopedia of Appliqué with 2000 designs! Another winner is Alex Anderson's Hand & Machine Appliqué.

Trophy Case is Done!
The new Trophy Case shop sample is done(a lovely couple bought the first one). I love it with Kona Bay's Nobu Fujiyama fabric mixed with Michael Miller's Fairy Frost. Love Barb Sackel's Trophy Case pattern. The class will be in November.
Pineapple Quilt Class!
I finished my pineapple quilt top. It's made using the technique fromPineapple Quilts, A Piece of Cake by Loretta Smith. The two-part class will be in October and then again in November. Thanks Mary Hiebeler for turning me on to this last QuiltCamp! Speaking of that, the guys are arriving this afternoon for QuiltGuy Camp so I better stop blogging and start getting ready. We have 5 states represented and of course the Queen's quilting ambassador from the North will be returning from Ottawa! However, Jim Hahn from CA wins for furthest distance travelled.

New Classes from Cheryl Kosarek!
Cheryl will be teaching Dream Landscapes II from the book Dream Landscapes.
Dream Landscapes I is a pre-requisite to this class. In Dream Landscapes II you'll be offered a choice between making the Oak Tree, Pathways, or you can do a design of your own creation! Cheryl will also be repeating the Methods to Texture Fabric workshop since the first class is full. The best part about this class is that all the supplies are included! And we've also introduced a new concept at Woodstock Quilt Supply, the Open Embellishment Studio, which will give the attendees an opportunity to use yarns, beads, sequins and other embellishments to complete landscape or other projects. Techniques will not be taught but Cheryl will be available for consultation. This is your opportunity to get together with other quilters who are delving into this exciting area of our quilting world. There is a lab fee included in the cost which means that Cheryl brings her considerable array of goodies that you get to use and experiment with!

Woodstock 40th Anniversary

1) No, the festival was not in Woodstock
2) Yes, this is the right Woodstock, we just never had the music festival here
3) Yes, you can walk to Bethel from here, it's about 50 miles so I'd get started while it's still light out.

Nobu Fujiyama from Kona Bay Fabrics
The gorgeous Nobu Fujiyama fabrics have arrived from Kona Bay! I cannot wait to cut into these guys. Hmmm, what to make?
New fabrics from Robert Kaufman!
These are just off the UPS truck! Great new fabrics from Robert Kaufman. We put the owls from Forest Fun together with a stripe and geometric print from Animal Party for a great retro look just for fun but suitable for a boy or girl. We also liked the crimson Quilter's Tweed with Aurora, which almost look like fall colored pointillist paintings!
